Example Client Interaction

You sell websites and domain names on eBay. Joe Smith purchases 2 websites and a domain name from you. Once he pays, you need to deliver the website files to him and transfer the domain names.

Possible scenario:

  • The website files are too large to send through email
  • Joe uses Yahoo or AOL and his email system refuses to allow your attachment
Or your email ends up in his spam folder and he never gets it.
  • A month goes by and Joe's webhost crashes and loses his website. He emails you to ask for the website files again because he cannot find them on his own computer. You have to dig through past transactions to find his and send him the files again.
  • Joe needs a hosting account and he has no idea how to upload files
  • He also needs someone to change the affiliate ID's on some links that are ont he website he purchased from you

Solution! With Download Lobby, the above transaction will be more like this:

  • Joe pays for the 2 websites and domain name.
  • You log in to your Download Lobby Admin area and add Joe as a New Client.
    • You type in his Name, Email, eBay ID and create a Username and Password for him.
    • You type in the names of the 2 websites he purchased
    • You open your list of your Digital Products provided on your website (explained in 'Features'), copy the download addresses of the websites he purchased and paste them onto the New Client Form as well as the Domain Name he purchased.
  • An email is automatically created with all of his details. You simply copy the email text, click the Email Icon, paste the email text into the form and send!
  • Joe receives the email giving him a link to your website and his login plus a list of the products and domain names he purchased from you.
  • He logs in and downloads his websites.
  • With one click, he requests the transfer of the domain name which generates an email to you with all the information you need to initiate the transfer.
  • Joe clicks the 'Order Changes' button and selects services he needs from you
  • In a month, when his web host loses his website, all he has to do is log back in to your website and download his files again. No interaction from you needed.
